Yuwie Memberships as at 1st December 2007

Now Yuwie has continued to grow but at a slower rate this month.
We can see that over the last four weeks here at Yuwie, total memberships have grown from 218,904on 1st November to 300,434. an increase of 81,530 which is approximately 20,000 less than the 104,904 last month.

Now for some reason, they were very quick off the mark in clearing monthly members stats for the month and I was too late for a screen shot. However, according to my records, despite having increased my referrals to a total of 20 this month - my total page views remained much the same as last month ! Not exactly inspiring and it depends on what RSR rate is declared for November. Last months at .32c saw many people less than impressed.

Oh well, its all good fun !

Yuwie Radio

Yuwie Radio has now launched - The brain child of Ty Warren, Scott Matusow & Bryan Ward.

"Welcome To Y Radio. We have All the good & the bad information about Yuwie. We are the 1st & BEST source for Yuwie News & Information. You can only get your questions answered LIVE by the owner of Yuwie.com Korry here every Thursday @ 7pm PST."

The first session I listened to was a bit 'primitive' I do not think they realized they had an audience and boys, were just being boys ! But I tuned in a week later, and they were a little more professional and ran a reasonable talk back session with callers.

Inappropriate Advertising

The following was posted by the Y Guy:

"We have been getting reports of inappropriate ads on the site. We want our advertisers to abide by the same content rules we make our users abide by. Unfortunately, we don't have preapproval rights for any of our advertising networks. All we can do is ban the advertiser once we see them on the site.

If you see ads that are inappropriate, or break any content rules that we have set, please get as much information about the ad as you can and send it to us. We have several advertising networks serving ads on Yuwie, so giving us as much information as possible will make it easier for us to track down the advertiser and ban them. Try to collect the following information:

1. The URL the ad links to.
2. Who's serving the ad. (Google, AdOn Network, etc)
3. Take a screenshot if possible.
4. The URL of the page the ad was on.

Please be assured that we don't want these ads on the site, but we don't know about them until you tell us."

I find this hard to believe - that a proclaimed family friend site does not have some process for approving advertising content.
